Akamai, our partner for account services, will be undergoing maintenance on February 8, 2024 between 5 and 6 AM ET.

During this maintenance window, PBS users will not be able to sign in with social accounts, such as Google, Facebook, or Apple ID. Users signing in with a PBS account will be unaffected.

Though the maintenance window is one hour, users may only see 10-15 minutes of downtime for social logins. Any users affected will see their social login attempt fail, and if so, they will need to try logging in again.

Users currently logged into the PBS app with a social login should not be affected, with no need to log into the app again following this maintenance.
